<p>The device (1) has a buffer (5) for receiving a clock signal independent of the content of information likely to be leaked from a module (3) e.g. memory, of an electronic component (2), and a transistor (7) for amplifying the received signal. An antenna (8) emits electromagnetic noise from the amplified signal, where the noise embeds some of the information leaking from the module. A high-pass filter (6) isolates some edges of the signal, where the antenna emits electromagnetic noise only when the module is active.
