PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the execution of both processing of updating software in the case that a version is different from the currently applied one and processing of updating the software regardless of the version when updating the software.SOLUTION: An image processor 10 receives a plurality of software applicable in accordance with each of a plurality of modules for achieving a function of the image processor 10 from a terminal device. When receiving a plurality of software in a normally operating state, the image processor 10 compares the versions of the received software with the version of the software currently applied to the image processor 10 about each module, and updates software about the module having a change in the version of the software. On the other hand, updates a plurality of software about the whole modules when receiving the plurality of software while activated by the performance of a specific operation input. |
