PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high reliable fluid heater superior in heat efficiency and reproducibility.SOLUTION: The fluid heater includes: a flow path unit 10 having a flow path 13 for a fluid to be heated therein; and a linear heating element 20 which is coated with an electric insulator and stored in the flow path 13. The linear heating element 20 is spirally wound at a pitch to avoid close contact of insulation coating material with each other, and the extending direction of the spiral axis is generally identical to the direction of the flow path 13. The linear heating element 20 is constituted of a forward heating element 21 and a return heating element 22 which make at least one round-trip in the flow path 13. The forward heating element 21 and the return heating element 22 are coaxially wound and the winding direction thereof is preferably opposite to each other. |
