PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power switching device capable of reducing generation of a high frequency current.SOLUTION: Appropriately, a smoothing capacitor and one or more serial resonance circuits are connected in parallel with a switching circuit. The serial resonance circuit has a serial resonant frequency equal to a fundamental wave and/or a low-order odd-number high frequency of a PWM carrier signal of the switching circuit. Appropriately, power is supplied from a DC current supply source through an inductor that is connected in parallel with a reflux diode, to the switching circuit and the smoothing capacitor which are connected in parallel with each other. When reducing a current to be supplied form the DC current supply source to the inductor, the reflux diode makes a free wheeling current flow to the inductor. An input terminal of a step-up chopper forming the switching circuit is connected through a bypass diode to an output terminal thereof. |
