Disclosed are a nonaqueous electrolyte with which it is possible to improve cycling characteristics when the electricity-storing device is used at a high temperature and at a high voltage. Also disclosed is an electricity-storing device in which the nonaqueous electrolyte is used. The nonaqueous electrolyte according to the present invention is characterized by containing a nonaqueous solvent, an electrolyte salt dissolved in the nonaqueous solvent, and a specific compound.
