The present invention relates to the field of networks. Disclosed are a network configuration method, apparatus and system, which can implement network automatic configuration of an SDN. The specific scheme comprises: a network configuration apparatus acquires a first request message sent by a switch, the first request message comprising an identifier of the switch and a request for a first network identifier of the switch; the network configuration apparatus acquires the first network identifier according to the first request message; and the network configuration apparatus sends to the switch a first answer message for the first request message, the first answer message comprising the first network identifier. The present invention is used in network configuration.
