The present invention relates to a portable blood glucose meter. A temperature measurement medium whose temperature rapidly changes according to the change in the external temperature, is mounted on one side of a case to be exposed to the outside, and the temperature of the temperature measurement medium is measured by an infrared temperature sensor in a non-contact manner. As a blood glucose measurement result is calculated by taking into account the measured temperature, the external temperature of an actual blood glucose measurement environment can be accurately reflected, thereby enhancing the accuracy of the blood glucose measurement result. By configuring the temperature measurement medium to sensitively react to the external temperature independently from the case, the temperature change of the temperature measurement medium according to the change in the external temperature is carried out quickly and accurately. Therefore, more accurate temperature measurement is possible, and a user can calculate a blood glucose measurement result more accurately. |
