PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizer that makes it possible to expand and advance functionality of an electronic device such as an image display device.SOLUTION: A polarizer according to the present invention is composed of a resin film comprising dichroic material, and comprises, in the resin film, a dichroic material low-concentration part with a relatively low content of dichroic material. In the polarizer according to the present invention, the contents of alkali metal and/or alkali earth metal in the dichroic material low-concentration part is 3.6 wt.% or less. |
