PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a display performance and easily set a rollback point, by displaying only intended meta information when a rollback is performed by a LTFS (Linear Tape File System) file system.SOLUTION: Meta information written in a data partition is divided into the following two groups A and B, and the back pointer of the meta information always points meta information on the group A right before. A (group A) is meta information written in the head when formatted, meta information written when unmounted and meta information which a user explicitly creates by an API such as Flush File Buffers(). A (group B) is meta information which an LTFS automatically writes periodically or in a close timing of a file by setting the meta information. When a list of the meta information is provided by a rollback, a back pointer is followed in order from the latest meta information. |
