PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbocharger bearing unit capable of solving a problem that resonance tends to occur in actual use as much as possible.SOLUTION: Provided is a turbocharger bearing unit 10 rotatably supporting an intermediate portion of a rotary shaft 16 having a turbine impeller 12 fixed to one end portion and a compressor impeller 14 fixed to the other end portion by a pair of rolling bearings 20 and 22 provided at two positions axially apart from each other, an axially outward inner ring end surface 28a of the rolling bearing 22 closer to the compressor impeller 14 protruding radially outward of an axially outward outer ring end surface 24c, and an axial length L[mm] from a position of the center of gravity of the turbine impeller 12 or the compressor impeller 14 to the inner ring end surface and a diameter d[mm] of the rotary shaft 16 satisfying a relation of L≤3d-5.9, 5≤d≤8.5. |
