PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desulfurization apparatus capable of continuously performing desulfurization and a gas treatment system, and a desulfurization method and a gas treatment method.SOLUTION: A filter 111 adsorbs SOx when a gas containing SOx passes the filter 111 in a desulfurization apparatus 100. The washing of at least one filter 111 is performed during adsorbing SOx at the other filter 111. Water is sprayed to the filter 111 to be washed at a second spray part 170 and a third spray part 180, water films are formed on the whole surface of the filter 111 and then the gas is shielded. A first spray part 160 sprays water into the gas at the upstream side of the filter 111 and then the gas is cooled. Sulfuric acid and sulfurous acid are generated by the reaction of SOx adsorbed on the filter 111 and water. Water containing sulfuric acid and sulfurous acid flows to the lower part of the filter 111 and is received by a lower part fixing member 114.
