PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate layout of a diffraction optical element for creating a bottle beam.SOLUTION: A first two-dimensional phase distribution is acquired, first (S100). The first two-dimensional phase distribution indicates a phase distribution of DOE for creating two bright points. In the first two-dimensional phase distribution, isopleths are disposed in parallel and in a line symmetric state to a predetermined reference straight line. Then, a one-dimensional phase distribution is created (S200). The one-dimensional phase distribution is a distribution which appears on a cross section of the first two-dimensional phase distribution when the first two-dimensional phase distribution is cut at a plane which is orthogonal to the isopleths. Then, a second two-dimensional phase distribution is created (S300). The second two-dimensional phase distribution is a rotation surface which appears when the one-dimensional phase distribution is rotated around the symmetric axis of the one-dimensional phase distribution serving as a rotation axis. Then, DOE is designed based on the second two-dimensional phase distribution (S400). |
