The present invention pertains to a decorative panel (1) and a musical instrument provided with said decorative panel (1). The decorative panel (1) has a regular pattern (S1, S2), and is provided with: a front-side layer (3) that is at least partially translucent; and a rear-side layer (4) installed so as to be movable in relation to the rear side of the front-side layer (3), the rear-side layer (4) having a pattern with a different period from the front-side layer (3). The invention is configured such that moire patterns are generated by the pattern (S1) of the front-side layer (3) and the pattern (S2) of the rear-side layer (4). The front-side layer (3) has a textile (6) and a resin composition (7) with which the textile is impregnated. Projections (8) are formed on at least one facing surface of the front-side layer (3) and the rear-side layer (4). Further provided is a reflective layer (5) for reflecting light that is incident from the rear side, the reflective layer being arranged on the rear side of the rear-side layer (4). Having the rear-side layer (4) be light-permeable causes the pattern to vary even when the relative positions of the article and an observer do not change. |
