PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable handrail of a man conveyor, which can prevent a deterioration in productivity and which can reduce protrusion of a tensile body from a surface.SOLUTION: A movable handrail 2 includes a body resin part 5 and a tensile body 7. The tensile body 7 is provided along a longitudinal direction of the body resin part 5, within the body resin part 5. Additionally, the tensile body 7 comprises a resin core 8 and a plurality of strands 9. The resin core 8 has a melting point lower than a melting point of a resin constituting the body resin part 5. The strands 9 are arranged on the periphery of the resin core 8 in such a manner as to be wound around the resin core 8.
