PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for a mobile station to feed back a response signal to a base station, using a small resource.SOLUTION: A base station transmits downlink data to a mobile station by using a primary component carrier (PCC) and a secondary component carrier (SCC), and the mobile station generates a response signal to the downlink data and transmits the signal to the base station. The mobile station receives downlink data from the base station (601); generates a response signal in response to the downlink data (602); selects an uplink resource for transmitting the response signal and a corresponding modulation code from predetermined resources, on the basis of a state of the response signal and whether the downlink data has been transmitted by a component carrier including the SCC or the downlink data has been transmitted by the PCC (603/605); and transmits the response signal by using the selected uplink resource and modulation code (604).
