PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display device capable of receiving an input by an input body such as a common writing instrument, and even if a tip input portion of the input body and a little finger or its root portion of a hand holding the input body are simultaneously touching a display when inputting, capable of identifying and detecting the tip input portion.SOLUTION: An information display device includes: an information display body P having a display D; and a sheet-like optical waveguide W mounted on a surface of the display D and comprising a position sensor A. The sheet-like optical waveguide W has a grid-like core 2 held between a sheet-like underclad layer and an overclad layer 3. The core 2 has an elastic modulus set larger than an elastic modulus of the underclad layer and an elastic modulus of the overclad layer 3. An intersection part of the grid-like core 2 is discontinued as at least one direction of the intersection is parted by a clearance. |
