PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extract a subject area precisely, robustly to change of visual performance of a subject.SOLUTION: An intra-image graph construction part 24 constructs a graph construction for every inputted image, and an image area division part 26 performs clustering about the constructed graph construction for every image, classifying the image area into clusters, sets partial areas classified into the clusters as divided areas. An area feature amount extraction part 27 extracts an area feature amount for every divided area of the image for every image, and an area clustering part 28 classifies each divided area to clusters on the basis of the extracted area feature amount. A cluster determination part 30 determines the cluster to which a subject area belongs from each classified cluster, and a subject area extraction part 32 extracts an image area in which divided areas of the image are compacted, belonging to the determined cluster, as a subject area of the image, for every image. |
