PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthetic aperture radar device configured to secure a sufficient synthetic aperture length, regardless of an imaging range of a fixed target.SOLUTION: In forming an image by performing SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) processing on a beam output which is obtained by emitting a radar wave toward a specific imaging range as a moving body moves, the imaging range is divided into a short-range area and a far-range area on the basis of a predetermined threshold. A receiving signal of the short-range area is range-Doppler transformed to generate a SAR image. A receiving signal of the far-range area is polar-format converted to generate a SAR image. The SAR images obtained in the short-range area and the far-range area are integrated. |
