PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection member capable of manufacturing a chain member having a comparatively long length with high accuracy, a connecting method of the chain member, an engagement chain, and a movable body moving device.SOLUTION: A connection member connects a plurality of chain members in series, and includes six connection plates 71 respectively having a pair of through holes 71a, a pin 72 supporting six connection plates 71 in an integrated state by being inserted to the through holes 71a of the six connection plates 71, and a clip 73 for preventing slip-off of the pin 72 from the through holes 71a. The pin 72 is rotatably inserted to the through holes 71a of five connection plates 71 among six connection plates, and non-rotatably fitted to the through hole 71a of the remaining one connection plate 71 placed at an end portion of the pin 72. Six connection plates 71 have the outer shape same as an outer plate configuring the chain member. |
