PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemically strengthened glass that effectively suppresses its glass strength from being lowered even by chemical strengthening.SOLUTION: The chemically strengthened glass is an aluminosilicate glass having a compressive stress layer formed by the ion exchange method. In the chemically strengthened glass, a texture direction index (Stdi) measured by a specific measurement method is 0.30 or more, the hydrogen concentration Y in a range of depth X from the top surface of the glass satisfies relational expression of Y=aX+b (1) when X is 0.1-0.4 μm, and the surface strength F (N) to the thickness t (mm) of a glass plate measured by a ball-on-ring test satisfies F≥1400×t. [In the relational expression (1), each symbol means the following, Y: hydrogen concentration (calculated as HO, mol/L), X: depth from the top surface of the glass (μm), a: -0.300 or more, and b: 0.220 or less.] |
