PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding material which consists of a thermoplastic resin and a reinforcement fiber and is substantially improved in mechanical characteristics, including tensile strength and elongation, without impairment of productivity and molding processability and a molding using it.SOLUTION: A molding material comprises a polyarylene sulfide (A), a carbodiimide compound (B), a reinforcement fiber (C) and a compound of a weight average molecular weight of 200-10,000, and the ingredient (B) is an aliphatic carbodiimide compound. The molding material contains 0.1-10 pts. mass of the ingredient (B) and 1-75 pts. mass of the ingredient (C) to 100 pts. mass of the ingredient (A) and 10-50 pts. mass of the ingredient (D) to 100 pts. mass of the ingredient (C), and a mixture containing the ingredients (A) and (B) is in contact with a composite containing the ingredients (C) and (D). |
