PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filament winding apparatus capable of calculating a tension of fiber travelling from a thread passage guide of a helical winding unit to a liner.SOLUTION: A filament winding apparatus 100 for drawing fiber F2 from a thread passage guide 44 of a helical winding unit 40 to wind around the outer periphery of a liner 1 by moving the liner 1 to the axial direction N while rotating in the axis rotation direction M includes: deflection amount detection parts 51, 61, and 71 for detecting a deflection amount P of the thread passage guide 44 when helical winding is performed by the helical winding unit 40; and tension calculation parts 52, 62 and 72 for calculating a tension Q of the fiber F2 travelling from the thread passage guide 44 to the liner 1, based on the deflection amount P of the thread passage guide 44, detected by the deflection amount detection parts 51, 61, and 71. |
