An optical alignment film and a manufacturing method therefor, and a liquid crystal display. The manufacturing method for the optical alignment film comprises: forming an optical alignment thin film on a substrate; enabling polarized light to pass through a mask plate to illuminate the optical alignment thin film, the mask plate comprising a light-transmitting region and a light-tight region located outside the light-transmitting region, the polarized light passing through the light-transmitting region to orient the illuminated optical alignment thin film; and removing the optical alignment thin film in the light-tight region, so as to form a patterned optical alignment thin film. |
