The present invention relates to the technical field of communications networks. Disclosed are an apparatus and method for processing a link between network nodes, which are used to solve the problem of how to improve flexibility in deployment of a backhaul link of a small cell. In embodiments of the present invention, an acquisition module acquires a target cell identifier (TCI) of at least one second network node, acquires attribute information corresponding to the at least one second network node, and provides the TCI and the attribute information to a generation module, the second network node being any network node having a neighboring cell relationship with a first network node, and the attribute information being attributes of a backhaul link, of the second network node, between the first network node and the second network node; and the generation module generates a backhaul relationship table (BRT) corresponding to the first network node according to the TCI and the attribute information that are acquired by the acquisition module, the BRT being used for maintaining a backhaul link relationship between the first network node and the second network node. The solution provided in embodiments of the present invention is suitable for use in processing of a link between network nodes. |
