PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption in a battery-driven node.SOLUTION: A transfer node includes: a wireless communication device for performing wireless communication with a sensor node including a sensor for observing an observation target; a calculation unit including a processor and a memory; and a battery for supplying power to the wireless communication device and the calculation unit. The processor executes: setting processing that sets reception timing for observation data to be received using a slot by which the observation data is received from the sensor node on the basis of the slot and a reception interval until the observation data is received from the sensor node, and transmits a transmission interval which is the same time interval as the reception interval to the sensor node; stop processing of stopping supplying power from the battery to the wireless communication device and the calculation unit, in the case that the setting is completed; and reception awaiting processing of supplying power from the battery to the wireless communication device and the calculation unit every time the reception timing comes after the setting, and awaiting, by slot time, reception of observation data from the sensor node. |
