PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring the travel resistance force of a conveyer belt which can measure the travel resistance force of the conveyer belt with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A pair of pressure rollers 2 is provided in a vertically provided base frame 4 with them horizontally separated. Above and between the pressure rollers 2, a measurement roller 1 is arranged and attached to the base frame 4. An upper cover rubber C2 side of a cut-sample having a predetermined length is supported by the pair of pressure rollers 2, and is pressed toward a lower cover rubber C1 with a predetermined load, so as to bring the measurement roller 1 into contact with the lower cover rubber C1. A weight 6 is attached to one end portion of a conveyer belt C in a belt longitudinal direction, so as to apply predetermined tensile force to the conveyer belt C. The other end portion in the belt longitudinal direction is vertically moved by a movement mechanism 12, and the conveyer belt C is travelled in the belt longitudinal direction relative to the measurement roller 1 and the pressure rollers 2, and a travel resistance force F is measured. |
