PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object detection device capable of increasing a detection speed, without reducing detection accuracy.SOLUTION: A laser radar 20 includes a light-emitting system, a folding mirror 205, a light deflector 204, a light detection system, and an object information acquisition part or the like. The light-emitting system includes a light source 21, and a coupling lens 22 or the like. The light detection system includes a condenser lens 28, and a photodetector 29 or the like. The light deflector 204 includes a plurality of reflection surfaces rotated around a rotation axis. The plurality of reflection surfaces are inclined with respect to the rotation axis and in the relation of rotational symmetry around the rotation axis. Light emitted from the light source 21 is made incident on the light deflector 204 from a direction parallel to the rotation axis. In this case, the dynamic balance of the rotation part of the light deflector 204 is easy so that the rotation part can be rotated at a high speed, while maintaining the detection accuracy. |
