PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a server to check a change in the status of a display device, which changes with user's operation, via a communication terminal device even when the display device does not comprises a function of detecting and reporting the status of the display device.SOLUTION: A communication terminal device 20 capable of communicating with a server device 2 via a network NW is connected with a television device 10 via an HDMI. With a power on/off operation by a user, the communication terminal device 20 acquires an output from the television device 10 via the HDMI, detects by the change in the content of the acquired output the power on status/power off status of the television device 10, and transmits a result of the detection to the server device 2 via the network NW. |
