PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drier capable of efficiently drying a large amount of an aqueous material.SOLUTION: A drier comprises: a dry room 13 where an aqueous material 6 is dried; aqueous-material supply means 16 and 17 supplying the aqueous material from one end portion of the dry room 13; discharge means 21 discharging the dried aqueous material 6 from the other end portion of the dry room 13; heating means 28 provided in the dry room 13; exhaust means 19 exhausting steam produced by heating from the other end portion of the dry room 13; and fluid-medium supply means 24, 26, 32, and 33 ejecting a fluid medium to the dry room 13 and liquefying the aqueous material 6, the aqueous-material supply means 16 and 17 including an input port 35 formed over an entire length of the dry room 13 in a width direction, aqueous-material supply lines 36 and 37 connected to the input port 35, and dispersion means provided in the aqueous-material supply lines 36 and 37 and dispersing the aqueous material in the width direction. |
