PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymerizable composition which is used for forming a polymer layer, that is interposed between an image display part of an image display device and a light-transmissive protection part, and which allows the adhesiveness of a polymer to glass to be improved, such a chance that the polymer is colored when heated by heat to be reduced, and the adhesiveness of the polymer to a material to be used in the light-transmissive protection part to be improved.SOLUTION: The polymerizable composition contains: (component 1) at least one compound selected from the group consisting of a (meth)acryloyl group-containing compound having a polyolefin structure, another (meth)acryloyl group-containing compound having a hydrogenated polyolefin structure, a different (meth)acryloyl group-containing compound having a polyester structure, and a separate (meth)acryloyl group-containing compound having a polycarbonate structure; (component 2) a (meth)acryloyl group-containing compound having a hydrocarbon group having 8 or more carbon atoms; (component 3) a vinyl group-containing compound having an amide bond; and (component 4) a phosphine oxide-based photopolymerization initiator having two acyl groups in one molecule thereof.
