PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exerciser capable of linearly varying the amount of a load exerted by an operation part in accordance with manipulated variable of a load adjustment part.SOLUTION: An exerciser 1 of the present invention is the exerciser 1 that is adapted to rowing operation. The exerciser includes: an operation part 10 for performing rowing operation; a turntable 31 that has electric conductivity and that rotates linked with an action of the operation part 10; a magnetic field forming part 32 in which magnets 321 are arranged so that at least a pair of magnetic poles of N pole and S pole oppositely face across the periphery of the turntable 31; a load adjustment part 20 for adjusting the amount of a load exerted by the operation part 10; and a displacement mechanism part 40 that displaces the relative position of the magnetic field forming part 32 to the periphery of the turntable 31 so that the area A of the turntable 31 penetrated by a magnetic flux B with respect to the manipulated variable of the load adjustment part 20 linearly varies. |
