This array antenna device is disposed such that the array antenna device includes two kinds of array antenna element arrays. The antenna element intervals of the two kinds of the array antenna element arrays are the whole-number multiples of the smallest antenna element interval, i.e., the antenna element interval that is set such that a grating lobe is not generated within a predetermined detection angle range, and the whole numbers are relatively prime positive integers of 2 or more.
