Provided is an optical information reproduction device for using reference light angle multiplexing holography to reproduce information from an optical information recording medium having information recorded thereon, wherein the optical information reproduction device is characterized by being provided with an optical output unit for irradiating laser light, an optical system for generating reference light from the laser irradiated by the optical output unit, a reference-light-angle-separating optical element for separating the reference light into a plurality of light beams having different angles, an angle adjustment unit for adjusting the angles of incidence of the reference light with respect to the optical information recording medium, an imaging unit for imaging a reproduced signal for the signal light diffracted from the optical information storage medium for each light beam separated by the reference-light-angle-separating optical element, and a control signal generation unit for calculating a target angle signal to be used by the angle adjustment unit from an optical intensity signal detected by a light detector and the reference light angles, and is characterized in that the angle adjustment unit is used to scan the reference light. Also provided is an optical information reproduction method used in the optical information reproduction device.
