The objective of the present invention is to obtain an absorbent article, which is provided with a second sheet between a top sheet and an absorbent body and whereby it is possible to stably maintain the absorbency of excretory fluids and maintain an excellent level of comfort when the article is worn. The absorbent article has a configuration in which a second sheet (5) is provided with a plurality of protrusion-containing regions (10), in which are formed solid protruding parts (11) that protrude toward the top sheet (2) side, and protrusion-free regions (12). A flat surface (13) that contacts the tip side of the protruding parts (11) is formed on the top sheet (2). A plurality of adhesive-coated regions (14), formed on the parts facing the protrusion-containing regions (10), and a plurality of adhesive-free regions (15) are formed on the flat surface (13). The protruding parts (11) and the adhesive-coated regions (14) are joined. Between the top sheet (2) and the second sheet (5), spaces (16) are formed between the protrusion-free regions (12) and the adhesive-free regions (15). |
