PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce troublesomeness of an operation caused by a difference in a size of an input area.SOLUTION: A coordinate input device capable of detecting a touch position to an input area includes: a setting part which sets a parameter based on a size of a display area projected from a display device to an input area; a recognition part which recognizes gesture operation based on a locus of a touch position; a generation part which generates a command corresponding to the gesture operation; and an output part which outputs the parameter and the command.
