PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal device, display control method, and display control program with which flicker on a screen due to the influence of the grip of a user can be suppressed.SOLUTION: A portable terminal device includes a detection part, a determination part, and a restriction part. The detection part of the portable terminal device detects an input to a predetermined area that has been set to a display operation part having a touch panel. The determination part of the portable terminal device determines the presence or absence of the influence of the input to the predetermined area on an illuminance sensor. The restriction part of the portable terminal device restricts automatic light control of the display operation part when the determination part has determined the presence of the influence on the illuminance sensor. |
