PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that when a printing system unilaterally transits to a power saving state while being remotely accessed by a host computer via a network, the printing system may possibly be recovered to a steady state immediately after the transition, or data may possibly be damaged depending on the contents of the remote access.SOLUTION: When a factor that prevents transition to a power saving state is only network connection by remote access, a printing system notifies a host computer that is performing the remote access of the start of transition to a power saving state. |
