PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector which lowers a possibility for a second member to be pushed back to a first position.SOLUTION: An electric connector 100 includes: a first member 110 having a head 111 and a fixed side arm 112; two or more electric terminals provided at the head; a short circuit terminal which is provided at the first member and performs short circuit of the electric terminal; and a second member 140 which is freely slidably provided at the first member in the way that it takes a first position and a second position nearer on an engagement side than the first position and reinforces an engaging force between the first member and an instrument at the second position. The second member is provided with a release piece interrupting between the electric terminal and the short circuit terminal when the second member is at the second position. The short circuit terminal has two or more first pieces in contact with the electric terminal and a second piece connecting the first pieces. The respective first pieces are provided inclined, and the respective first pieces are provided with inflection parts. |
