PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extract an action purpose and a factor and reason, from a text of an electronic document, in which the action purpose is distinguished from the factor and reason.SOLUTION: A search part 110 of a purpose factor extraction device 101 acquires a document group in which an action input from a Web document DB 100 is described. A candidate extraction part 120 extracts a candidate of an action purpose of the input action or candidates of a factor and reason, based on a clue expression held in a clue expression DB 130 by dependent analysis, from the document group acquired by the search part 110. A purpose factor extraction part 140 determines the candidate as the factor and reason, when a tense of the candidate is a past form. In addition, according to a result in which, a use example of the candidate, use example in which a paraphrastic expression of a use of the action purpose is coupled to the candidate, and a use example in which a paraphrastic expression of a use of the factor and reason is coupled to the candidate, the action purpose/factor and reason, are extracted from the candidate part. |
