PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin storage device, capable of storing coins in an approximately uniform state, so that coins do not overflow from a storage container.SOLUTION: A coin storage device 1500 comprises: a coin guide part 1505 having an inclination part for guiding a put coin into a predetermined direction; a coin mount part 1502 which is disposed in a coin storage housing 1501 for storing coins, and having a mount surface for mounting the coins thereon; an elastic member 1503 whose one end side contacts the coin mount part 1502, whose the other end side contacts the coin storage housing 1501, therefore capable of supporting elastically, the coin mount part 1502, and having an elastic constant capable of maintaining height from a bottom surface of the coin storage housing 1501 to a top point of the coins mounted on the coin mount part 1502 to predetermined upper limit height; and a storage state detection part 1504 capable of detecting that the coin mount part 1502 on which the coins are mounted is moved to a predetermined position on the coin storage housing 1501. |
