A waterproof connection apparatus (10) for electronic equipment comprises an approximately cylindrical outer casing (11), a support part (12) that is installed in a wall-like manner inside a rear side of the outer casing (11), a contact terminal (13) that is supported by the support part (12) and that is led into the outer casing (11), and a circumferential seal part (14) that is provided in a prescribed position between the outer casing (11) and the support part (12) and that seals the space between the outer casing (11) and the support part (12). The seal part (14) is made of an elastic material and is provided so as to protrude to the outside from one part of an outer circumferential surface (123) of the support part (12). The protruding section is pressed inward and the seal part (14) is thereby pressed into circumferential contact with an inner surface of the outer casing (11). The present invention can reliably and highly durably prevent water from infiltrating the rear side from the space between the outer casing (11) and the support part (12) installed therein, and can be reduced in length so as to be smaller. |
