Provided are a substrate and a manufacturing method therefor, a 3D display device and a mask plate. The manufacturing method for a substrate comprises: preparing an underlayment substrate (1, 2); forming a process identifier (4) and a spacer (6) which are located at the same level on the underlayment substrate (1, 2) through one patterning process; and forming a transparent electrode on the underlayment substrate (1, 2). Forming the process identifier (4) and the spacer (6) simultaneously through one patterning process could obtain a liquid crystal grating device having a higher yield and a 3D display device using the liquid crystal grating device, and at the same time, the number of mask plates is also reduced, and the costs are saved. |
