PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal display panel that has decorativeness where radiation light transmits therethrough, has characters and marks with a floating island part that can be formed with simple processing, and has the plurality of characters and marks formed with good productivity.SOLUTION: An embossed carving part with the depth larger than the thickness of a metal plate is formed in the metal plate by pressing protruding from the back face through the front face of the metal plate; a light-transmissive resin layer is formed on the back face of the metal plate having the embossed carving part so as to fill recesses formed on the back face of the embossed carving part; and subsequently the surface part of the embossed carving part projecting to the front face of the metal plate is removed, so as to form a decorative part having the light-transmissive resin layer exposed in holes after the surface part is removed. |
