PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device that uses white sub pixels in addition to sub pixels of three primary colors and can reduce color mixing to white.SOLUTION: There is provided a liquid crystal display device which has an array substrate having a plurality of pixels 50 arranged in matrix, where the pixels 50 each comprise six sub pixels: two vertical columns and three horizontal rows; one of the two columns of the pixel 50 has sub pixels 22R, 22G, and 22B of R, G, and B arranged therein; the other column has sub pixels 22W, 22Y, and 22W of W, Y, and W. |
