PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which information in an RFID tag is all rewritten using short-range radio communication when an NDEF format is used or when a data structure in an RFID is not known, namely, in which there is a possibility of rewriting of even information that a user wants to leave in the RFID tag when a processing mode of an apparatus is changed by changing contents stored in the RFID tag.SOLUTION: A communication apparatus including a short-range radio communication unit which holds first information has update means for receiving a write instruction for second information to the short-range radio communication unit from an external device, changing a processing mode of the communication apparatus according to the second information according to the write instruction, and updating the second information written to the short-range radio communication unit into the first information. |
