PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article combinedly having a stable absorptive power when being worn and favorable use feeling by prevention of liquid leak and stuffiness, capable of fully exerting original absorptive power of an absorbent core, and stably inhibiting leak of liquid such as excretory fluid and stuffiness when being worn.SOLUTION: An absorber 13 includes: an absorbent core 15 extending in the length direction of the absorber 13 and absorbing and holding liquid; and a cover sheet 16 with liquid permeability, wound around the outer peripheral surface of the absorbent core 15, about an axial line in the length direction of the absorber core 15. The cover sheet 16 includes an extension part 18 that extends from an end in the width direction of the absorber core 15 and an inner peripheral surface which is mutually brought into non-contact with a surface on a liquid-permeable sheet 11 side and a surface on a liquid-impermeable sheet 12 side in the absorbent core 15. An absorbent material 19 with liquid absorbing property is bonded to the inner peripheral surface side of the extension part 18 with an adhesive. |
