PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tube bank apparatus for distributing stocks in a headbox of a papermaking machine.SOLUTION: A tube bank apparatus has a tube with a first part and a second part for allowing stocks to flow. The first part specifies a bore for allowing stocks to flow, and the bore has end parts on the upstream side and the downstream side. The second part specifies a passage for allowing the stocks to flow, and the passage has terminals on the upstream side and the downstream side. The terminal on the upstream side of the passage works with the end part on the downstream side of the bore so that the stocks flow from the end part on the upstream of the bore to the end part on the downstream side, and pass through the terminal on the upstream side and the terminal on the downstream side of the passage. First, second and third edges specify at least part of the terminal on the downstream side of the passage. The second edge extends between the first edge and the third edge so that a sum of a first angle specified between the first edge and the second edge and a second angle specified between the second edge and the third edge is less than 180°. |
