PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a missing part inspection method with which it is possible to inspect for the absence of a heat conduction sheet without relying on the assembly position of a device and suppress costs.SOLUTION: A device comprises a circuit board, a thermo-sensitive element disposed on the circuit board for detecting the temperature of a member to be attached, and a heat-generating element which is disposed on the circuit board and generates heat upon electricity conduction thereto. In a missing part inspection method, inspection is made while the device is assembled to the member to be attached so that a heat conduction sheet is placed between the member to be attached and itself to see whether the heat conduction sheet is placed between the member to be attached and the thermo-sensitive element. In the missing part inspection method, the heat generating element is caused to generate heat by turning on electricity thereto, and a first detection signal of the thermo-sensitive element is acquired after a prescribed time from the start of heat generation. Furthermore, determination is made on the basis of the acquired first detection signal as to whether the heat conduction sheet is placed between the member to be attached and the thermo-sensitive element. |
