Disclosed is a hybrid network system, and a corresponding channel content replay method is provided based on the hybrid network system, thereby avoiding the idleness of a DVB network. The method provided by embodiments of the present invention comprises: connecting a hybrid set top box into an EPG system, and acquiring a channel list of channel content from the EPG system; receiving target channel content from a channel of a DVB network on the basis of the channel that a user has selected according to the channel list; acquiring a first URL from the EPG system according to a fast backward operation of the user; and acquiring the target channel content after the fast backward from a CDN system in an IP network according to the first URL. The embodiments of the present invention also provide a hybrid set top box capable of implementing the method.
