A device for displaying an alarm position according to an embodiment of the present invention is provided with: a system configuration for a PLC system; a scrollbar on a system configuration screen; a display unit for displaying a scrollbar area on the screen, the scrollbar area being a region in which the scrollbar can be moved; a display-position calculating unit for calculating the position where the system configuration is displayed on the screen, and calculating the position where the scrollbar is displayed on the screen, and the position where the scrollbar area is displayed on the screen; an alarm-information processing unit for determining the location where an alarm has occurred and the type of alarm when the alarm is generated in the PLC system; and a composite-display calculating unit for calculating the display position of an alarm icon in the scrollbar area in correspondence with the location of the alarm. The display unit displays the alarm icon on the scrollbar area in a display format corresponding to the type of alarm on the basis of calculation results from the composite-display calculating unit.
